The place usually seems to be busy no matter what time I go. But for good reason. It's got that barbershop feel that I want. Music, and conversation. There are 4 chairs so they can accommodate more customers. The guys are all quick and efficent in their jobs so you can be in and out pretty quickly, and still have a great looking cut. Eric did a great job. My son also enjoys coming with me. Will return.
Millsy's is one of those barbershops where you don't need that 'break in' time to feel like a regular. I am relatively new to the area, having moved up from long Island, having the same barber for so long, they know your preferences, you know the atmosphere, it's familiar, it's safe. Given this, I was a bit apprehensive about looking for a new Barbershop, and with so many to choose from, going through that awkward phase of learning your barber, them learning you, I wasn't looking forward to it. However, I didn't have to. There's something downright special about this place. The way that everyone jokes around with each other, people walking in, trying to get in a cut between a busy schedule, it just felt right, picturesque even. I know it may sound dramatic from your point of view, but honestly, give them a try. Everyone's got crazy skills, and are extremely personable, and you can book ahead of time with no hassle. (plus being able to pay with card is awesome) Bottom line, I needed a new Barbershop home, and I found it here. Give it a shot, you may too.
Roy did an incredible job on our son's hair!!! Exactly what our boy was after!! These guys are amazing and fun to chat with while waiting for your kid's haircut to be done ...
I was going to another barber in Victor for almost a year and while he gave me an excellent skin fade and was super nice, the prices at that shop were really high. One day he up and vanished and the other barbers of the shop wouldn't tell me where he went or what happened. I walked over to Millsys and saw Jeff. He gave me a great skin fade for almost half the price I was getting charged at the other shop. I have been back several more times for fades and shaves over the last few months and everything has been top notch.
Let me tell you, this is a fantastic barbershop. I'm from NJ and came up for a wedding. My son needed something done. Roy was kind, fun and professional. Just look at the mess he had to deal with, thank you so much!! His hair is now manageable and and got many compliments!
Was in need of a local barber and figured I would check out this place. Called and they were able to get me in with an appointment later the same day. Arrived a few minutes early and they were ready for me. Great haircut. Convenient location. I'll be back to see Eddie M. again. I definitely recommend.
